AIDataEntryPro is an internal accounting tool used by BlackpeakCFO to read accounting
records from QuickBooks Online company files that our own clients have given us
administrator or accountant-level access to, for the purpose of providing bookkeeping,
accounts preparation and tax services to those clients. It is not currently offered to
the public, and there is no public sign-up.
With a client's own authorisation, granted through their own QuickBooks Online admin
account, we access accounting data held in their QuickBooks Online company: the chart
of accounts, transactions, invoices, bills, customers, vendors and related accounting
records necessary to prepare their accounts and returns.
Data is used solely to carry out the accounting, bookkeeping and tax services we have
been engaged to provide to that client. It is not used for any other purpose, and it is
not used to build profiles, train models, or serve advertising.
We do not sell client data, and we do not share it with third parties other than where
a client's own engagement requires it (for example, filing a return with HM Revenue &
Customs on their instruction) or where we are required to by law.
Data pulled through this tool is stored on infrastructure we operate and control, and
is retained in accordance with our normal professional record-keeping obligations as a
CIMA member in practice.
Access to a client's QuickBooks Online company is only established with that client's
own authorisation through Intuit's own connection process. Credentials used by this
tool are held securely and are not shared with any other party.
Any client whose data is accessed through this tool may ask us at any time what data we
hold, request its correction, or withdraw their authorisation for us to access their
QuickBooks Online company - the latter can be done directly from within their own
QuickBooks Online account at any time, independently of us.
